World Diabetes Day (WDD) is celebrated every year on November 14. The World Diabetes Day campaign is led by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) and its member associations


WHAT IS WORLD DIABETES DAY?
World Diabetes Day (WDD) marks the birthday of
Sir Frederick Banting, Canadian medical scientist and Nobel laureate who, along with Charles Best, first conceived the idea which then led to the discovery of insulin 90 years ago, in 1922.
