On 26th January 2014 Indian Government has announced the names of 127 personalities from various fields, who have been selected for the Padma awards for the year 2014. Padma Awards are India's highest civilian awards. These awards are given away in three categories. Those are,

1. Padma Vibhushan - Second highest civilian award after the Bharat Ratna given for exceptional and distinguished service.
